With the arrival of the Director of the daily official of Chile, Mr. Carlos Orellana, President of the REDBOA ended the 7th Forum of official American newspapers, held on 5, 6 and 7 November in Santiago, Chile, who for the second time were hosts of the REDBOA Forum. 7 of the 12 countries participated in this opportunity members (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, El Salvador, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay) and Portugal as a guest.
The REDBOA is an organization founded in the year 2008, comprising 12 countries of the American continent, which has already made 7 annual forums, including this one, and 5 extraordinary meetings. Its administrative headquarters is in Montevideo, Uruguay.
For the first time within the forums, included presentations from other organisms to official journals. In this opportunity stated a representative of the library of the National Congress of Chile and a representative of the unit of modernization of the State and Government Digital of Chile.
The theme to work during the Forum was "Transparency and legal certainty for citizens", in which analyzed trends and practices of the official journals of the rest of the countries of the network.
During their stay in our country, those attending the Forum held meetings with government officials as well as technical workshops for the optimization of the work in each official journal.
THE 7th Forum REDBOA ended with a closing ceremony in the Palacio de la Moneda, which counted with the presence of the Undersecretary of the Interior, Mr. Mahmud Aleuy and Chief of the Division legal of the Ministry of Interior Mr. Luis Correa.
